We announce the launch of BT Wholesale Ethernet: a landmark product for you and for us in two important ways. Firstly, it forms the foundation of a complete portfolio we are creating to enable you and your customers to gain the most from the flexibility and cost advantages of the 21st Century Network (21CN). And secondly, in response to your requests, we’ve developed this especially for the wholesale market with wholesale pricing so that you have the scope to achieve your profit margins.
There’s news too of the start of a far more collaborative approach to new product development. Our new automated online Statement of Requirement (SOR) system goes live to bring you better information and put you in touch with our Product Management people. Our aim is to create more opportunities to work together but also to make it easier for you to track new product and product enhancement ideas right through from initial suggestion to market launch.
And there’s fresh thinking in progress on Response itself – as you can read here and as you will see from July onwards. We’re taking on board general comments from our recent Communications Survey to create an e-zine with content that’s more tailored to your interests and your needs. Response is the first of our communications media to undergo this transformation.
